I still haven’t used my iTunes gift card that I got for my birthday. I’ve been carefully considering what I should acquire and now it looks like Mike Doughty’s Haughty Melodic is the front runner. Great stuff right there.
So my good buddy, Curtis Schutza, one of the baddest bass players on the planet made me a new pedal board. Mine was looking pretty grungy and starting fall apart. Dude sees a need, and out of nowhere, I show up at band rehearsal the other night and there’s this beauty sitting in Paul’s garage. On Saturday night I spent an hour or so arranging all my pedals and cables and pictured below is the end result. Beauty, eh?
I read this article a few minutes ago and I can’t help but be awestruck.
creation speaks to me
i’m stricken to my knees
in reverance and fear
forever my Almighty
the heavens in your hand
surpass the grains of sand
who am i before you

I received a $15 Best Buy gift card for my birthday from a special friend. I finally cashed in on it this past weekend and bought…another gift card. But not just any gift card. An iTunes Music Store gift card for $15. I’m wondering what I should buy with it, though. What do you think I should get? Make your recommendations. Tell me why I should buy them.

Just an update for the sake of leaving an update. Work is kicking my butt this week. That’s fine. I like my job and I tend to like the busyness. But with the other activities going on after work throughout the week, when I finally get around to having some downtime, blogging is of minimal importance. I have plenty to write about…but I don’t have it in me to do the task of writing.
A special hello is in order to Carrie. I love that you love to read this stuff. Thanks for asking for more. It was a true joy to share that worship experience with you on Sunday.

Some of you more astute folks might have noticed that things have changed around here. I’ve decided to see what I can do with some new themes. I loved the Benevolence theme but I was limited with what I could do with my links, additional pages, etc. Right now I’m using the Contempt theme, but not sure if I’m going to stick with it. I love its functionality…it is based on the Kubrick theme, but tweaking it is somewhat over my head, as evidenced by my ugly-ass header…in other words, I’m not down with the overstretched guitar photo and the baby-blue title.
I guess I’ll figure this out soon enough.

Arlington Pediatric Center
Since I didn’t get one of these per my earlier wish, maybe I can get this instead? It’s a little cheaper. Just throwing it out there for consideration.
I kid. I kid.
Seriously.
